Rough Draft TX was founded in 2016 under Down South Word of Mouth.

 

Our classes provide in-person classes focused on creative expression for incarcerated men, women, and children to find value in their voices.

Projects

Rough Draft has several visual art, poetry, creative writing, and dance/movement projects that serve Hays County, Travis County, Tarrant County, and others.

Donate

Your donation helps to provide classes for people to use artistic expression to process their trauma. Classes enable participants to write, share, and connect to one another in a safe space to process their emotions. Every dollar goes towards art supplies, notebooks, and pencils.
